Susan Crawford is out with a new ad that charges billionaire Elon Musk is trying to buy a seat on the Supreme Court for conservative rival Brad Schimel.

The conservative Americans for Prosperity-Wisconsin announced two new digital ads urging voters to turn out for Schimel.

Conservative Supreme Court candidate Brad Schimel recently launched a new TV ad featuring a domestic abuse survivor who says the Waukesha County judge is passionate about helping others. 

Wisconsin AFL-CIO announced two new digital ads featuring union members praising Crawford. The spots will air on social media platforms, streaming TV and other websites. 

The spot is part of a $600,000 buy on broadcast, streaming and digital platforms in the Madison market and on cable across the state.

The ads will feature cameos from well-known public figures including Donald Trump Jr., former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre, musician Ted Nugent, and U.S. Rep. Tom Tiffany, R-Minocqua.

The narrator in the new spot says a serial rapist attacked women while the rape kit that “could have convicted him sat on a shelf collecting dust” because Schimel “waited years to test thousands of rape kits while the women he was sworn to protect paid a terrible price.”

The ad is part of a more than $500,000 campaign on broadcast and cable TV, connected TV, digital, and satellite platforms in the Milwaukee and Green Bay media markets.
