MADISON – State Representative Robyn Vining (D-Wauwatosa) was sworn into the Wisconsin State Assembly for her second term on Monday, December 28th by Governor Tony Evers in a virtual ceremony with her Democratic colleagues.

Today, Rep. Vining announces her committee assignments for the 2021-2022 legislative session: Ranking Member of the Assembly Committees on Mental Health and Small Business Development, and the Assembly Committees on Health and Children & Families. Rep. Vining issued the following statement regarding her oath of office and committee assignments:

“It is an honor to serve the people of the 14th Assembly District for a second term. Though our oath of office looked a bit different this session due to the pandemic, the importance of that oath is unchanged. I am ready to work on day one of this session to improve the lives and livelihoods of my constituents and all Wisconsinites.

“I look forward to working as a Ranking Member of both the Assembly Committee on Mental Health and the Assembly Committee on Small Business Development. I care deeply about these issues, and am honored to serve as the lead Assembly Democrat on these committees.

“I also look forward to returning as a member of the Assembly Committees on Health and Children & Families.

“Thank you for the honor to serve.  Hold close to one another. Be safe. Wear a mask. Love your neighborhood. Forward together.”
