The state Dem Party raised $9.5 million in the preelection period, while its GOP counterpart pulled in $2.6 million.
The latest hauls pushed the Dem take from Jan. 1 to Oct. 21 to $29.4 million, compared to the $7.4 million the state GOP raised.
As has been the case on past reports, large donors and out-of-state contributions helped fuel the Dem financial edge.
