A Zoom webinar on Wisconsin’s Aviation and Transit will be presented by The League of Women Voters of Wisconsin and the American Society of Civil Engineer (ASCE)’s-Wisconsin Section on the 2024 ASCE Report Card for Wisconsin’s Infrastructure. Five panelists, including the chapter authors and expert professionals working in these fields, will discuss the Report Card chapters on Aviation and Transit. This is the second in a series of nine webinars on Wisconsin’s seventeen infrastructure categories.

The public is welcome to this webinar that will host five speakers. The first presenter will be the Wisconsin Aviation 2024 Infrastructure Report Card Chapter author, Ryan Betker P.E. He is the Transportation Service Lead at Westwood Professional Services and has worked on transportation issues throughout the U.S.  He will be joined by Transit Chapter author Bob Bryson P.E., who retired as the Chief Traffic and Street Lighting Engineer for the City of Milwaukee, Department of Public Works, after 34 years of service. Other speakers include Abe Weber, the Director of the Appleton International Airport who has twice been named Wisconsin’s Aviation Person of the Year; David Steele, Executive Director of MobiliSE, a nonpartisan coalition in southeastern Wisconsin that advocates for transportation choices; and Ian Ritz, Chief of the Transit Section of the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
