GOP lawmakers have asked the state Supreme Court to dismiss the redistricting suit the liberal majority agreed to hear.
In agreeing to accept the case, the court directed parties in the suit to focus on several issues. The motion, which Republicans filed Friday, allows them to raise additional issues with the justices on why they believe the suit is improper.
