Childhood Obesity task force:
“I am excited to serve on the Speaker’s Task Force on Childhood Obesity. Childhood obesity has gotten worse and worse over the years as our society has become more sedentary. We need to do better so children are physically prepared to be active young adults and citizens in their country. Childhood obesity affects one in five children in the United States. In adulthood, two out of every three adults are overweight or obese. I look forward to finding ways to encourage wellness and healthy habits in Wisconsin.”
