Waukesha, Wis. (February 13, 2023) – Judge Jennifer Dorow’s campaign for Wisconsin Supreme Court continues to show strong momentum. Despite not entering the race until many months after the other candidates for Supreme Court, Dorow has amassed a combination of endorsements and financial support that puts her head and shoulders above the rest of the field.

In a campaign finance report that will be filed with the state today, Judge Dorow’s campaign will show it raised $364,000 from January 1-February 6. In addition, Judge Dorow’s campaign reported over $30,000 in contributions late last week that came in after February 6. Altogether, Judge Dorow’s campaign has now raised more than $700,000 in just 70 days – far outpacing candidates in previous Supreme Court races. The campaign also announced that an overwhelming 96 percent of Judge Dorow’s donations are from Wisconsinites.

Judge Dorow’s impressive fundraising comes on the heels of her announcing she now has over 100 sheriffs, police chiefs and prosecutors who have endorsed her campaign – which is nearly four times the amount of law enforcement support the other three candidates in the race have combined.

“I couldn’t be more humbled by the support I’ve received in such a short period of time,” said Judge Dorow. “As I have traveled the state, it’s clear most Wisconsinites understand the incredible stakes of this election and they want a Supreme Court Justice who will be fair and impartial and committed to upholding the rule of law. That’s exactly what I’ve done in my 11 years as a judge and exactly what I’ll do as a Supreme Court Justice.”

Judge Dorow, who is Chief Judge for the Third Judicial District, has been on the bench for 11 years. She was recently chosen by her peers to serve as Chief of the Chief Judges. Prior to becoming a judge, she worked as an attorney in the Waukesha County District Attorney’s office and in private practice. Her husband, Brian, served in various capacities in law enforcement, and they have three children.
