[Waukesha, Wis.] — The Milwaukee Fire Department Chief Officers Association has endorsed Rebecca Kleefisch’s campaign for governor.
The Milwaukee Fire Department Chief Officers Association released the following statement with its endorsement:
“The Milwaukee Fire Department Chief Officers Association is announcing the decision to endorse Rebecca Kleefisch for Governor of the great State of Wisconsin in the upcoming gubernatorial primary this Tuesday, August 9th, 2022.
“Rebecca Kleefisch has constantly and consistently provided her support of the fire service in her eight years as lieutenant governor of the State of Wisconsin. Her experience, knowledge, skills and abilities have not wavered, and the Milwaukee Fire Department Chief Officers Association recognizes her unwavering support of the fire service and the firefighters and first responders who have chosen to be public servants in that capacity. Her stated priorities for the State of Wisconsin regarding citizen safety is paramount and will enhance the abilities of each municipalities Fire Department capabilities in providing the very best Fire and EMS service that all Wisconsin residents have come to know and expect from us.”
