MADISON, Wis. — With just eight days until Election Day, it’s a great time for the media to set the record straight on Brad Schimel and Susan Crawford’s record. In fact the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s analysis confirmed everything conservatives have been yelling from the rooftops.
The verdict is in and Susan Crawford has once again been proven to be a dangerously liberal Democrat. The MJS published this study, and the proof is in the pudding: Brad Schimel has a record of protecting Wisconsin communities, while Crawford has a record of coddling criminals. An analysis of both Schimel and Crawford’s records as judges found that law enforcement’s choice, Brad Schimel sentenced criminals convicted of felony sexual assault to longer prison time than Sweetheart-Sentence Susan. Moreover, Brad’s median prison sentence for violent criminals was more than TWICE what Susan Crawford handed down. While Susan Crawford claims to be a law-and-order candidate who “gets the facts right,” her record tells a different story.
Her concern for criminals shouldn’t be a surprise – after all, her only support from law enforcement came from far-left Dane County liberals who defied federal law enforcement to protect illegal immigrants. Not to mention, Crawford’s supported by organizations who helped lead ‘Defund the Police’ movements. At every turn, Crawford puts her liberal agenda before Wisconsinites, and as the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel found out, this habit started long before her bid for the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Crawford can’t be trusted to properly sentence criminals, and she definitely can’t be trusted with sitting on the bench of Wisconsin’s highest court.
The contrast between Brad Schimel and Susan Crawford could not be more clear. Schimel served as our Attorney General, donned Wisconsin’s Top Cop for his dedication to the safety of Wisconsin – law enforcement trusts Schimel too, which is why sheriffs and law enforcement organizations across the State have thrown their support behind him. Law enforcement knows that as a justice on the Wisconsin Supreme Court, Brad will continue to serve justice and fight for Wisconsin’s freedoms.
