VERONA, Wis. ― The Wisconsin Beef Council is hitting the accelerator this May Beef Month, offering exciting ways to help you fuel up with beef!

As drivers pass by Wisconsin’s 22,777 farms and ranches raising cattle and calves, they’ll also be reminded of beef farmers’ dedication while fueling up at their local Kwik Trip. Throughout May, customers will see messages about beef’s benefits — packed with 10 essential nutrients — and can enter to win a Pit Boss Navigator 850 Connected Grill through their Kwik Rewards App. Each fresh beef purchase in-store, such as Ground Beef or Steak, earns additional entries. Plus, easy beef recipes are available at beeftips.com/kwiktrip.

Beef lovers can also show their pride and support a good cause by purchasing an exclusive “Fueled by Beef” shirt! Available through May 15, these limited-edition shirts — offered in gray and black t-shirts, long-sleeve tees, and sweatshirts — highlight beef’s powerful nutrition, delivering 25 grams of protein and 10 essential nutrients in every 3-ounce serving. Proceeds benefit Feeding Wisconsin, helping supply beef to families in need through more than 1,000 local food programs. Shop the collection at beeftips.com/feedingwisconsin.

There are even more ways to celebrate May Beef Month:

  • Visit Wisconsin’s 500+ licensed meat establishments, chat with your local butcher, and take home a new beef cut to try. Not sure how to prepare it? Find cooking tips and recipes at beeftips.com.
  • Grab a bite at one of the Elite Eight finalists in the 2025 Wisconsin’s Best Burger Contest, honoring the state’s top 100% beef burgers!

And of course, one of the best ways to celebrate is to thank the people behind the plate — from the farmers who care for the animals and the land to the processors, truck drivers, retailers, restaurant workers, and everyone in between.
