MILWAUKEE_Every year during 414 for UWM Giving Days, UWM alumni, employees, students and friends from around the world come together to fuel Panther success. On April 14 and 15, they’ll do so again by giving the gift of UWM to create life-changing opportunities.

Early giving is already underway, and real-time progress updates during the two-day event will be shared on the Giving Days website. Giving the gift of UWM provides vital resources that help students thrive. It paves the way for groundbreaking research and trusted community partnerships. In short, it’s a powerful gift with limitless potential to change the world for the better.

A great way to help is by joining one of several challenges, which will unlock additional support for funds when specific giving goals are met. Supporters can also become a 414 for UWM Advocate, sharing their UWM love and encouraging Giving Days donations through social media channels by using the #414forUWM hashtag.

Also, everyone is welcome at the Panthers on the Plaza event, April 15 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Spaights Plaza. Come enjoy free food and yard games, airbrush a custom T-shirt, and connect with friends and colleagues while celebrating Giving Days.

The revamped 414 for UWM Giving Days website makes it easier than ever for people to give to the area of UWM that’s most important to them. That might be the Panther Pathways Scholarship Fund, which provides unrestricted scholarship funds to any undergraduate student, or the Ignite Fund, which supports programs and research that uplift the UWM experience.

However people show their support, they’ll do so as part of a community that’s full of Panther pride. And they’ll have the gratitude of past, present and future UWM students.
