Madison, WI- This morning, several bills that Senate President Mary Felzkowski (R-Tomahawk) supported were signed into law. 2025 Wisconsin Acts 1, 2, and 3 ratified contracts for unionized building trades employees working in Wisconsin State Government.
The bills were recommended for approval in February out of the Joint Committee for Employment Relations, which Senate President Mary Felzkowski (R-Tomahawk) co-chairs. Since the implementation of the current approval process, this is the earliest these contracts have ever been approved. Senate President Felzkowski issued the following statement:
I’m very excited that we got these contracts done quickly for the hard-working men and women who take care of our state facilities. These are middle-class, blue-collar families that have suffered through the economic ramifications of four years of Bidenomics, and I am pleased that we were able to give these families more financial resources in a timely manner.
