In his new spot, Schimel said he would “see some of the worst things people do to each other” while a prosecutor, including children who are survivors of sexual abuse. Schimel says he would go to the scene when calls came in at 3 a.m. and “we made sure we put that case together so we could bring justice for them.”
He closes the spot, “When you walk out of the courtroom after a guilty verdict, they had the communities say ‘We believe you, and you deserve justice,’ and there’s no better feeling.”
