Madison, WI – Today, Democrats in the Legislature began circulating their ‘Abortion Rights Preservation Act.’ Among other things, the legislation repeals the language found in Wisconsin’s 1849 abortion limitation – betraying Leftist judicial arguments against its statutory significance. Senator Kelda Roys (D – Madison), in her characteristic obtuseness, introduced the bill fewer than 24 hours after making impassioned remarks on the Senate floor regarding the Holocaust. In response to the snake-oil legislation which will be falsely hailed as female-empowerment, Representative Lindee Brill (R – Sheboygan Falls) made the following statement:

“Mere hours after Senator Kelda Roys delivered her speech on the Senate floor absurdly likening the Trump administration to the Third Reich, she introduced this bill to accelerate and prolong the modern-day Holocaust which has been perpetrated through elective abortion. The truth is that the sixty-five million American lives which have been unceremoniously destroyed in the name of “women’s rights” constitute a genocide that puts Adolf Hitler’s maniacal butchery to shame. The Democrats who voted yesterday to recognize Holocaust Remembrance Day have turned around this day to endorse and expand the atrocities of our present era. I ask that the faithful people of Wisconsin join me in praying that God will have mercy on their souls and deliver them from their affection for this profound evil.”
