REEDSBURG, Wis. – Following his announcement last week that he is running for chair of the Wisconsin Democratic Party, Devin Remiker today announced the endorsements of Senate and Assembly Democratic Leaders Dianne Hesselbein and Greta Neubauer.
“With so much at stake in 2026, we need a Chair who knows what it takes to win,” said Dianne Hesselbein and Greta Neubauer, “and that’s Devin Remiker. Devin has been an instrumental component of the success of WisDems over the last several years and has helped to lead us to the cusp of taking back our legislative majorities and securing a Democratic trifecta. Now more than ever, we desperately need to keep his kind of steady leadership at the Party. We’re thrilled to endorse his candidacy and look forward to continuing to partner with him for more victories to come.”
“I’m so grateful to Leaders Hesselbein and Neubauer for the trust that they’ve put in me to lead WisDems,” said Devin Remiker, candidate for WisDems chair. “Under their leadership, we flipped 14 legislative seats last November to put us within striking distance of taking legislative majorities for the first time in more than a decade. They more than most know what’s at stake and I’m so honored to have them standing with me.”
Over the past decade, Devin has been at the center of the majority of recent successful Democratic political fights in Wisconsin. He has previously served as the party’s political director and as executive director during key victories from 2018-2022. Currently, he is a senior advisor to WisDems and led the party’s successful People v. Musk campaign which generated a flood of grassroots pushback and earned media attention to combat Elon Musk’s attempt to buy the 2025 state Supreme Court race. Devin has worked directly to support Democratic campaigns across the state and understands how the party can build on successes, learn from mistakes, and build a party that’s more effective and collaborative.
Delegates to the WisDems state convention will choose party officers at the State Convention, June 14-15 in the Wisconsin Dells.
