New endorsements build on support from Democratic Senate and Assembly leaders and other local party leaders statewide

REEDSBURG, Wis. – Democratic elected officials, grassroots activists, and local party leaders continue to announce their support for Devin Remiker as the next WisDems chair. Since announcing his candidacy, Remiker has traveled across the state to meet with Democrats, share his vision for the future of the party, and hear how the state party can better support local candidates and activists.

“Thanks to the incredible work of volunteers, local party leaders, and outstanding Democratic candidates, we’re within reach of flipping control of the Legislature and finally delivering the representation Wisconsin families deserve,” said Devin Remiker, candidate for WisDems chair. “I’m honored to have the support of these leaders across Wisconsin who trust me to lead our party forward.”

Additional Democratic Leaders Endorsing Devin Remiker:

  • State Senator Brad Pfaff
  • State Senator Kris Alfheim
  • State Senator Bob Wirch
  • State Representative Steve Doyle
  • State Representative Tip McGuire
  • State Representative Ben DeSmidt
  • Sheboygan Mayor Ryan Sorenson
  • Manitowoc Mayor Justin Nickels
  • Outagamie County Executive Tom Nelson
  • Former State Representative Tod Ohnstad

These endorsements build on dozens of previously-announced endorsements from Democrats across Wisconsin.

Over the past decade, Devin has been at the center of the majority of recent successful Democratic political fights in Wisconsin. He has previously served as the party’s political director and as executive director during key victories from 2018–2022. Currently, he is a senior advisor to WisDems and led the party’s successful People v. Musk campaign which generated a flood of grassroots pushback and earned media attention to combat Elon Musk’s attempt to buy the 2025 state Supreme Court race. Devin has worked directly to support Democratic campaigns across the state and understands how the party can build on successes, learn from mistakes, and build a party that’s more effective and collaborative.

Delegates to the WisDems state convention will choose party officers at the State Convention, June 14-15 in the Wisconsin Dells.
