DGA Chair Kansas Governor Laura Kelly released the following statement on Judge Susan Crawford’s victory in the Wisconsin Supreme Court election:
“Tonight, the people of Wisconsin spoke loudly and clearly: their votes can’t be bought. Wisconsinites from every corner of the state proved that working families firmly reject the daily chaos coming out of D.C. for statewide leaders who are committed to upholding the rule of law and protecting fundamental freedoms. With all eyes on Virginia and New Jersey this year – and with 36 governor’s races in 2026, including in Wisconsin – the stakes couldn’t be higher, and the American people will continue to look increasingly toward the states for strong Democratic leadership.”
