Supreme Court candidate Susan Crawford has launched a trio of new ads knocking conservative rival Brad Schimel on how he’s treated sex offenders, Elon Musk’s support for his campaign and on abortion.
The new ads include one that opens with the narrator saying if “you want them to be safe, don’t vote for him” as an image of Schimel is shown. The narrator says Schimel let a man off easy after he sexually assaulted a 10-year-old girl, calling it a one-time thing; gave a man caught with child porn a plea deal after receiving $5,000 from his lawyer; and “blamed the girls” when a man sexually assaulted two underage children.

“Brad Schimel won’t protect your kids, but you can with your vote,” the narrator concludes the spot as the screen shows Crawford.
The other two are 15-second spots. One features former Dane County Assistant DA Bob Kaiser saying Musk is “is trying to buy this election with ads that lie about judge Susan Crawford because he knows Brad Schimel always helps his campaign donors.”
The narrator in the other says Schimel would ban abortion with no exceptions for rape, incest or the mother’s health and jail doctors that perform them.
“You have the right to make your own health care decisions. Don’t let Brad Schimel take that right away,” the narrator concludes the ad.
