MILWAUKEE, Wis. — Yesterday, the Milwaukee Bar Association released their annual poll, which “surveys its members regarding the characteristics and qualifications of judicial candidates that appear on the ballot in Milwaukee County.”
Judge Crawford is endorsed by more than 175 current and former judges and judicial officers across the state, and as proven in the MBA poll, a majority of members say that Judge Crawford “exceeds expectations” over Schimel on judicial temperament, impartiality and integrity. Schimel only received 13% of the vote. In the poll Crawford handily leads Schimel in every category, while attorneys raise serious flags about Schimel’s judgment, with 34% saying he does not meet expectations on impartiality and integrity and 41% saying he fails to meet expectations on judicial temperament.
