Liberal Supreme Court candidate Susan Crawford is up with a new TV ad responding to a spot from conservative Brad Schimel accusing her of siding with those who want to allow boys to compete in girls’ sports.
It was the first time Schimel hit Crawford on transgender issues in the race.

According to AdImpact, Crawford has $23.5 million in reservations for the full race. That includes $9.2 million over the final two weeks.
The narrator in Crawford’s new ad says Schimel is lying about her “views on protecting kids, just like he lied about rape kits and let child molesters off easy, even blaming child victims.” The spot shows a clip of Schimel’s ad playing in the background.
The narrator says the truth is Crawford is a “former prosecutor, a common sense judge and a mom” who’s always protected our kids.
“I’m Judge Susan Crawford, and I’ll always follow the law and use common sense to decide what’s right,” she says to close the ad.
