MADISON — Gov. Tony Evers today appointed Travis Maze as Jefferson County Sheriff. The appointment fills a vacancy created by Sheriff Paul Milbrath’s retirement, effective August 8, 2024. Maze will complete the remainder of the unexpired term that ends January 2027.
