MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) reminds hunters and trappers that the deadline to apply for a bobcat or fisher permit is Aug. 1, 2024.
The DNR regulates the harvest of bobcat and fisher through a permitting system. To receive a permit for one of these species, a hunter or trapper must submit an application and be selected as a winner.
