Madison, WI – Senator Mary Felzkowski (R-Tomahawk), Representative Calvin Callahan (R-Tomahawk), Representative Jeff Mursau (R-Crivitz), and Representative Rob Swearingen (R-Rhinelander) announced dates, times, and locations for budget listening sessions throughout the 12th Senate District and the Representatives’ respective Assembly Districts.
These legislators will be holding sessions on Saturdays throughout March and April, providing their constituents with a great opportunity to give feedback on what they would like to see in the biennial state budget.
Senator Felzkowski and Representative Swearingen are also excited to announce that the Joint Committee on Finance – the state budget writing committee – will be holding one of their large-scale listening sessions in Minocqua on April 26, 2023. These listening sessions give the people of Wisconsin direct access to the committee, allowing the public to provide direct input on the 2023-25 state budget.
