Madison, WI –Today, Representative David Steffen (R-Green Bay) released the following statement regarding the NFL’s announcement that Green Bay will be hosting the 2025 draft.
“Hosting the 2025 NFL Draft is a historic opportunity for Green Bay to showcase our community and generate a $94 million state benefit–$20 million of which will directly impact Green Bay. I am thrilled that our community will receive this worldwide spotlight.
“I am proud to advocate for state support of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and will continue working with state officials including the Department of Tourism to ensure we maximize the benefit of this opportunity, support the local host community, and provide a top-notch, Wisconsin-style welcome for the 240,000 visitors to Titletown in 2025,” said Rep. Steffen.
