MADISON, Wis – Today, Assembly Republicans announced a framework for new shared revenue investments. Assembly Democratic Leader Greta Neubauer (D-Racine) released the following statement:

“Wisconsin has a critical opportunity to make meaningful investments in our communities through this budget, as proposed by Governor Evers. We must ensure that we are providing all municipalities with the resources they need to provide essential services after years of stagnant funding from the GOP-led legislature.

“We still haven’t seen a bill draft from the GOP, and there is a lot more work to be done to ensure that we have a solution that works for the people of Wisconsin. We look forward to continuing these conversations to give our communities the support they need to be successful.”
