Germantown, WI – State Representative Dan Knodl (R-Germantown) advanced to the general election on April 4, 2023 for the State Senate, District 8. He prevailed in a three-way Republican primary for the seat vacated by retired Senator Alberta Darling. He released the following statement:

“I am so thankful to my family and friends for all of their support throughout this election. Thank you to the voters for exercising your constitutional right.

“Thank you to all of the volunteers and new friends I met at their door talking about the issues affecting themselves and their families.

Dan is a lifelong resident of the 8th Senate District. He raised his four children here and is a proud grandfather. Dan is a small business owner with over 30 years of experience in the hospitality and real estate sectors. He currently serves in the State Assembly representing the 24th Assembly District since 2009. He has the business and legislative experience to deliver results for the voters of the 8th Senate District. The district includes portions of Washington, Ozaukee, Waukesha, and Milwaukee County.
