Middleton – Today, after the latest Republican legislative attempt to insert politicians into reproductive health care decisions, State Senator Dianne Hesselbein (D-Middleton) released the following statement:
“The most recent proposal put forward by my Republican colleagues continues to deny pregnant people the rights they previously held under Roe. We have seen time and time again that an overwhelming majority of Wisconsinites support restoring Roe and repealing Wisconsin’s 1849 criminal abortion ban. We will settle for nothing less.”
