Madison, Wis. – The Wisconsin Center recently announced the launch of their first annual Gala Giveaway. This giveaway will gift an area non-profit/charitable organization a complimentary gala in the Wisconsin Center’s new expanded convention center’s rooftop ballroom set to open in the spring of 2024. The Wisconsin Center is operated by the Wisconsin Center District (WCD), which also operates the Milwaukee Panther Arena and the Miller High Life Theater in the heart of downtown Milwaukee. The WCD promotes hospitality, arts, culture, sports, and other tourism experiences in the area. Representative Kalan Haywood (D-Milwaukee), who also serves as a member of the WCD board, released the following statement:
“I am excited and pleased to see the work that has been done by the WCD to give back to our community. This is a great opportunity for non-profit groups to expand their voice and their impact on those they serve. These groups realize that the success and prosperity of our communities depends on lifting up people from all backgrounds, and creating opportunities and pathways to success for all. I applaud the WCD for establishing a unique, annual contribution to local organizations.”
