MADISON… Assembly Majority Leader Tyler August (R-Lake Geneva) released the following statement supporting the Choices in Childcare legislative package offered by Republicans in the Assembly:
“Parents all over the state are increasingly facing childcare challenges. In the coming weeks, Republicans in the Assembly will work to advance our legislative package aiming at expanding access to quality childcare. These bills will not only increase childcare options for parents, but also reduce the financial burden. This package will build upon the additional $90 million investment Republicans recently enacted in the state budget.”
