Milwaukee, WI – Govs. Scott Walker and Tommy Thompson will serve as honorary co-chairs of the MKE 2024 Host Committee, whose role is to welcome the 2024 Republican National Convention to Milwaukee. The two governors will support the Host Committee’s work in the months ahead as the Host Committee continues fundraising and preparing for the convention.
“I’m excited to join the Host Committee in welcoming the Republican National Convention to Milwaukee in 2024,” Gov. Thompson said. “It’s a fantastic opportunity for Milwaukee to showcase its strengths and for Wisconsin to play host to visitors from all around the globe.”
“This is a huge opportunity to show Wisconsin on a global stage and I’m honored to be a part of the Host Committee’s work,” Gov. Walker said. “We are incredibly proud to host the 2024 Republican National Convention in Wisconsin and I’m excited to welcome tens of thousands of Republican delegates to Milwaukee next summer.”
