When we hate our political enemies more than we love our Democracy we allow our minds to become poisoned.
When we are told that our economy is in the dumpster we ignore the truth that:
Unemployment is down to 3.8%. Average wage gains of 4% are beginning to outpace inflation.
The Dow is higher than at any point in the previous administration. Median household wealth is up 37% since the present administration took office.
When we hear that the present administration is leaving our country in worse shape than the previous administration we forget:
In just four years the previous administration raised the national debt by a record 7.4 trillion dollars; a leap of more than 33%. The unemployment rate was at 6.3% when the new administration took office. More than 90,000 Americans were dying of COVID every month with vaccine distribution unsettled.
When we hate our political enemies more than we love our Democracy; we get the government we deserve, not the government we need.
