MADISON, Wis. –Today, Americans for Prosperity-Wisconsin (AFP-WI) announced Megan Novak as its next state director. Novak has served as Legislative Director for AFP-WI since 2019. 

“I am thrilled to take on this new role as state director and carry out AFP-WI’s commitment to driving meaningful policies that prioritize the success and prosperity of all Wisconsinites,” said Novak. “I am proud of the work we have accomplished since joining the team in 2019 and look forward to continuing our efforts to promote economic opportunity, education freedom, and policies that put Wisconsinites first. I am excited to continue working with lawmakers and activists in this new role to make Wisconsin the best place to live, work, and raise a family.”

Before joining AFP-WI in 2019, Novak served in the Office of Governor Scott Walker as a Senior Policy Advisor, as Legislative Advisor in the Wisconsin Department of Administration, and Legislative Assistant to Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald. She resides in the Madison area with her family.

Novak succeeds former State Director Eric Bott, who stepped into the role of Regional Vice President for the grassroots organization.
