Gov. Tony Evers’ campaign released a new 15-second TV ad saying GOP rival Tim Michels pledged to “rig future elections.”
According to AdImpact, the spot aired in the Madison and Milwaukee markets. Evers was poised to spend more than $3 million on paid media over the final week of the campaign.
The spot plays a clip of Michels saying, “Republicans will never lose another election in Wisconsin after I’m elected governor.”
The narrator closes the spot, “He’ll try to overthrow the will of the people. Is that the kind of divisive radical you want as governor?”
