A Better Wisconsin Together Political Action Fund reported to the state it’s putting $400,000 behind a TV buy opposing GOP AG candidate Eric Toney.
A Better Wisconsin Together Political Action Fund posted a video to its YouTube page this week featuring a narrator saying Toney is running for AG, but “even as a county prosecutor, Toney was in over his head.”
The narrator says an accused child abuser got off without any prison time under Toney and a nine-time felon was released from jail and then murdered a fireman.
The narrator adds, “Toney’s failures at trial allowed a killer to escape a first-degree murder charge.

“Eric Toney: a history of mistakes, putting us in danger,” the narrator says to close the spot.
