MILWAUKEE -- Barrett for Wisconsin's finance report will show that Tom Barrett raised over $750,000, overwhelmingly from individual donors from Wisconsin, between March 30th and April 23rd -- just 25 days.
"In a little more than three weeks, thousands of people, the vast majority from Wisconsin, have rallied around Tom Barrett's vision of bringing our state together, focusing on jobs instead of ideology, and ending the political turmoil caused by Scott Walker's partisan warfare," said Barrett for Wisconsin Communications Director Phil Walzak. "The voters of Wisconsin know Tom Barrett is the best and strongest candidate to defeat Scott Walker, and people continue to fuel his campaign with their time, their hard work and energy, and their resources."
99% of Tom's donations came from individual contributors. Barrett's campaign had nearly $500,000 on hand when Tom entered the race on March 30th.
Finance reports are due to the Government Accountability Board on April 30th.
